Who needs to take this course?
You need hunter education if you were born after December 31, 1986, and will be buying a hunting license in Indiana.
Indiana does not offer bowhunter education.

Ilearntohunt: Quizzes include 5-15 questions. Students must score 80% or higher to pass or redo the unit. The final exam includes 50 questions, and students must score 80% or higher to pass. Students have unlimited attempts.

Field day requirements
There is no Field Day requirement for Indiana.
After completing the course
Hunter-Ed and Ilearntohunt students can print their temporary Hunter Education Certificate. The permanent card is mailed in 2-3 weeks.

Military exemptions and benefits
Active-duty military members who are stationed in Indiana may purchase a resident hunting license.
Active-duty military members who are Indiana residents but stationed elsewhere are not required to have a hunting license while on leave.
All other exemption or benefit questions should be referred to the state.
